5th National Adaptation Forum Postponement Notice

On behalf of EcoAdapt and the 5th National Adaptation Forum Planning Committee, we have been closely monitoring the impacts of COVID-19 on not only first responders, health care professionals, family and friends, but also our many partners, especially the Regional Adaptation Forums--originally scheduled for 2020. Our priority is the health and safety of the adaptation community, and how to best serve the growing adaptation field.

We are aware that many Regional Adaptation Forums are facing the challenge of postponing their 2020 in-person events. To support these regional efforts, we hope to prevent any possible conflicts with the 5th National Adaptation Forum as they reschedule. Thus, after careful consideration, we have decided to postpone the in-person gathering of the 5th National Adaptation Forum to Spring 2022.

We remain committed to promoting resilience and adaptation, especially in these uncertain times. EcoAdapt is exploring other ways in which we can bring the larger National Adaptation Forum community together in 2021. Stay tuned for details.

We would like to get your thoughts on a national virtual convening in 2021. Please take this survey to help us plan what will work best for the community.

The work of the adaptation community is more important now than ever. Promoting best practices in adaptation throughout the United States remains top priority for us. Together, we can and will meet the urgent need to take Action Today for a Better Tomorrow!
