Local Solutions
September 18 – 19, 2025 | Hanover, NH
The goal of this meeting is to build capacity for socially just and equitable migration and enhanced regional climate resilience. This conference is jointly hosted by Dartmouth College, NOAA, and Antioch University, New England. The conference will be focusing on affordable and resilient housing, community health, energy resilience, flood resilience, and how to finance local solutions.
Midwest Climate Resilience Conference
October 20 – 22, 2025 | Milwaukee, WI
The Midwest Climate Resilience Conference is intended to: 1) Provide a venue for meaningful climate adaptation and resilience dialogue amongst a diverse set of voices and perspectives including representatives from communities who are most impacted; 2) Share experiences, lessons learned, research, and resources across sectors and scales of governance, management, and decision making related to climate adaptation and resilience; 3) Celebrate successes and inspire collective action through coordination and collaboration across the region; 4) Connect and grow the regional network of climate adaptation and resilience practitioners by encouraging and supporting participation from a wide range of sectors, organizations, levels of government, and communities.

South Central Climate Resilience Forum
April 2 – 4, 2024 | Dallas, TX
The South Central Climate Resilience Forum is an in-person 3-day event focused on fostering meaningful dialogue and action on equitable climate resilience and adaptation across the region.
The Forum brings together representatives from non-profit organizations, all levels of government, community groups, private industry, and academia from Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas. The goals of the event are to improve understanding of the climate-related challenges facing the region and increase awareness of work that is being done to enhance resilience in the region. The program includes presentations, symposiums, and workshops on resources, research, tools, knowledge, and experiences, and will provide opportunities for information exchange and network-building.

Southwest Adaptation Forum

The Southwest Adaptation Forum is the gathering of climate adaptation leaders, researchers, and practitioners across the Southwest U.S., to exchange best practices around efforts that are advancing climate adaptation and resilience in the region.
Northwest Climate Conference

The Northwest Climate Conference has provided a networking and learning community for practitioners, scientists, tribal members, and community organizers interested in climate change impacts and adaptation in the Northwest for over a decade. The Northwest Climate Conference is committed to supporting equitable climate adaptation outcomes and building equity and diversity in climate science, policy, and adaptation practice. We encourage our conference attendees and presenters to advance the conversation around climate justice both as a stand alone topic and across the many other topics and themes profiled in the conference. California Adaptation Forum

The biennial California Adaptation Forum aims to gather California’s adaptation community to foster knowledge exchange, innovation, and mutual support to accelerate adaptation efforts and create equitable and resilient communities throughout the state. California Adaptation Forum provides an inclusive space for community leaders, decision-makers, technical experts, and on-the-ground practitioners working across California to connect, discuss, and learn about new policies and tools, project successes and lessons learned, and emerging opportunities to build climate resilience in the near-term and over the coming decades.
